About this track
Decision After Decision came from thinking about how a simple task can stop feeling simple very quickly. Something like tidying up, sorting through a pile of things, or trying to clear a space. On the surface it should be straightforward. In reality, every object can turn into its own small problem.
Where should this live? Will I ever use it? Why did I buy it in the first place? How will I feel if it's gone?
What should be a small practical choice starts pulling in memory, guilt, identity, good intentions, half-finished versions of yourself, and imagined futures that never quite happened. The task stops being about tidying. It becomes a slow build of pressure.
That was the feeling behind this track. One decision leading to another, and then another, until the original thing you were trying to do starts to drift further away. You are still moving, in a sense, but not really getting anywhere.
This demo still feels close to that early shape. It is rougher, less settled, and a bit more exposed. I wanted to leave it that way. It felt more honest.
The track does not really resolve, because that experience usually does not either. The task is left unfinished. Your attention slips somewhere else. The room is still there. The objects are still there. The noise in your head just changes shape.
If any of that feels familiar, then you are probably hearing it the way I hoped it might be heard.
